Read / Write Programs
The Read / Write Program provides remedial assistance for children, youth, and adults experiencing reading or writing difficulties and performing at least one year below expected functioning level. Our trained, qualified and experienced educational staff assists many clients not enrolled in the full School Program. Individuals waiting for entrance to the School Program often attend these sessions.
Intensive Remedial Program:
A one-on-one 75 hour program is offered in 5 week blocks throughout the school year from September to June. (3 hours per day x 5 days per week x 5 weeks during a morning or afternoon time-frame) This program is designed to address the needs of individuals in the areas of phonemic awareness, reading, writing, spelling and comprehension skills based upon assessments and recommendations. The strategies used are centered around the foundation of the Auditory Discrimination in Depth/Lips program.
Cost of Program including POST-assessment: $4125.00 based on $55/hour. Pre-registration with deposit is required. We try to accommodate our client families with payment plans.
Saturday Tutoring Programs:
Read/Write: one-on-one instruction in the areas of phonemic awareness, reading, writing, spelling and comprehension, as requested by the client to address particular performance needs.
1:1 for 2 hours per Saturday for a renewable contracted time of a minimum of 20 hours. Available continuously throughout the year except July and August.
Chisanbop Math: 1:1 sessions of 1 hour are also available on Saturdays. The minimum for Chisanbop Math is 10 hours.
Cost: $55.00 per hour
Summer Programs
A one-on-one 75 hour program. The 2010 dates are ~July 5 - 29 and/or ~August 3 - 27, 2010. Early registration is advised as this program fills up quickly.
"Booster" Programs
Offered in Spring, August, and December. All booster programs are three hours per day, instruction is on a one-to-one basis.
Spring Booster Programs: March 29 - April 1, 2010 and April 5 - 9, 2010.
August Booster Program: August 2010 ( programs of various lengths: 15 hours - 60 hours )
Chisanbop Math instruction is also available during the above Booster and Summer dates.
Modified programs
May be made available at any time throughout the year based on demand.
